Tuna Melt Sandwich
A tuna melt sandwich, perfect for when a quick lunch is needed, but you want something more than a plain sandwich. I make lunch for Allan every day when he comes home from school for a few minutes, and it is hard at times to come up with something different and interesting. This is a great lunch, hot and delicious. And it has melted cheese!!
- 1/3 cup light mayonnaise
- 2 slices bread
- 1 cans (each 6.5 oz/184 g) flaked tuna, drained
- 1/4 cup chopped celery
- 1/4 cup mince dill pickles
- 1 green onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Toast bread. Combine other ingredients except cheese.
Spread over toasted bread. Top with cheese and broil until melted and bubbling.
