Slow Cooker Creamy Beef

This morning I was decided to use the slow cooker a couple of times today.  Firstly to make this and then slow cooker rice pudding.

Slow Cooker Creamy Beef Stew

It is snowing. Again.  On April 8th. 

We have been having a thaw for the past three days.  This morning it is snowing again…


So slow cooker creamy beef sounded just right for Allan’s supper.  I cut the amounts as always, and it worked out great.

Slow Cooker Creamy Beef

• 2 lbs stew meat
• 2 T butter
• 1/4 cup milk
• 1 T worcestershire sauce
• 1 T black pepper
• 2 T dried minced onion
• 1/4 cup beef broth
• 1/2 t kosher salt
• 1 t herbs de provence
• 1/2 block of cream cheese (not pictured)

Put everything except the cream cheese into the slow cooker.

Cook on low for 10-12 hours.

Just before serving add in a half block of cream cheese, and stir until it is incorporated.

Serve over hot pasta.

Creamy Beef

I served it with Cheddar Mashed Potato Casserole instead of pasta tonight.
