Moving Faux Fool
After a hiatus in the South of Ontario, Allan took another Principal-ship in the North. Which meant moving. Which meant that everything had to go into storage and all the odd things in the back of the cupboard and fridge needed using up.
This was how I consoled myself one evening after a day of packing everything into boxes to go into storage for the next few years.
Faux Fool
There really is no recipe, just some whipped cream with pie filling folded through. Empty calories, but comforting when needed!
And on the day of the final move to storage…

The moving truck took 90 minutes to park at the end of the driveway, after taking out the tree in this picture and nearly colliding with some cars. The snow had just come overnight, perfect timing…
Now, we are safely in our new location, and I have definite plans to post more regularly!

Good luck on the new placement. I’m sorry you had to leave civilization before we were able to get together or share some recipes with more easily accessible ingredients.
Wishing you all the best for 2013.
Thanks, Anne, it all happened rather quickly. We had no plans to move back North, but the offer came and Allan thought it was a good one so accepted. I am still recovering from my illness so I didn’t get to do any of the things I had hoped for when living South. Next time… x
Dearest ~
Because I am a terrible, TERRIBLE person, I still have things to mail you. Will you send me your new address via email?

Good luck with the move!
Thank you! We are all settled into the new place now, so all is very good.
Alison! I didnt know you were moving, but I am glad for you, because you will be in a fresh place, away from the insane neighbors. I will send you my warmest wishes and most heartfelt desires that you never run across another insane neighbor again. *hug*
Thank you!!
